NAV Drone Mobile: What's New?

• Expanded privileges for advanced pilots to conduct sheltered and extended visual line-of-sight (EVLOS) operations
• Sheltered operations will require manual approval when any altitude threshold is 100 ft or lower; else, they will receive automatic approval upon submitting permission request.
• Support for planning advanced operations using medium drones (over 25 kg up to 150 kg) within visual line-of-sight (VLOS).
• Advanced VLOS operations in controlled airspace using medium drones will require manual authorization.

• Ability to update or add logbook entries to maintain flight records.
• New feedback button is added on the Dashboard screen.
• Notifications for withdrawn operations will include a reason.

Various UI/UX improvements to the following screens:

• Operation Planning and Zoom to take-off.
• Dashboard including Announcements.

• When using the NAV Drone web interface, you must define your operation’s geometry before setting your Category of Operation, which will now default to Advanced. We are working to make this process more flexible in the future.
• You may occasionally experience slow response times when navigating the NAV Drone map, with lags up to a few seconds. We are actively working to improve performance and provide a better user experience.
• The NAV Drone mobile app cannot currently display Air Risk Class (ARC) and population density data overlays. This information is available through the NAV Drone web interface.
