Making Changes to the User Profile

1 - Tap the More button (three horizontal bars icon) at the bottom right of the app.
2 - Tap My account menu. My account provides the options to change your personal details, address and security settings.

  • Tap the Personal details menu to change Name, Email and Mobile number. Tap the Save button when completed.

Editing a mobile number

When editing your mobile number, click Send verification code to have a SMS with a verification code sent to your mobile phone. After receiving the code, enter it when prompted in the App to verify your mobile number. A verified mobile number is required for planning and performing drone operations in controlled airspace.

  • Tap the Address menu to change the Address, City, Postal Code and Country of the user. Tap the Save button when completed.
  • Tap the Security menu to reset password, enable/disable the multi-factor authentication and delete the account.
  • Tap the Change Company menu to switch between operator accounts.

Multi factor authentication

You can activate multi factor authentication (MFA) either via SMS to your mobile device or via a one-time password (OTP) from your preferred Authenticator app.  A verified mobile number is required to make use of the MFA service.

To activate MFA:

  1. Tap the Personal details menu under My account.
  2. Ensure a verified mobile number is listed in your profile.
  3. Tap the Security menu under My account.
  4. Tap the toggle button next to Multi factor authentication to activate or deactivate MFA.
  5. Select the MFA type you want to use:
  • MFA via SMS: the system will ask you for an SMS code that is sent to your mobile phone each time you log in.
  • MFA via OTP (One Time Password): the system will ask you for an OTP code that is sent to an Authenticator app on your mobile phone each time you log in. If you select this option, you will receive instructions on how to configure OTP at your next login. At this point in time NAV Drone supports Microsoft Authenticator, Google Authenticator and FreeOTP.

Delete Account

Your account, will first be deactivated and will only be completely deleted after the legal retention period. During that time you are still able to reactivate it.

If you request your account be deleted but subsequently re-activate it during the 30-day retention period:

  • Crew members that were originally linked to your Operator account at the time of deletion will not longer be linked to your account; you will need to re-invite these users.
  • Any authorization requests that were active when the account was deleted will be cancelled; you will need to re-submit them if needed.

User Settings

  1. Tap the More button (three horizontal bars icon) at the bottom right of the App.
  2. Tap the User settings menu
  3. Tap Language to select one of the two available languages (English or Français)
  4. Tap Coordinates to select one of the two available systems.
  5. Tap one of the preset units of measurements (Metric or Imperial) or customize the units
