Third-Party Review of Toronto Pearson Airspace
NAV CANADA Response to Independent Airspace Review Report
Final Report from Helios, Bo Redeborn and Graham Lake
NAV CANADA launched a third party review of the airspace surrounding Toronto Pearson International Airport. The purpose of the review was to identify options to reduce the exposure to aircraft noise experienced by the community residing around the airport.
The team assessed air traffic management practices, flight path design and aircraft operating practices and consulted with a range of concerned stakeholders – including residents – from across the greater Toronto area.
The review team was commissioned by, but operated independent of, NAV CANADA. The review team consisted of Helios, and independent consultants Bo Redeborn and Graham Lake.
