Keeping Canada’s skies safe during COVID-19

NAV CANADA’s top priority is the continued safety of Canadian skies, and the safety of our employees. All of our operations are functioning without interruption and we do not anticipate disruptions given the measures we’ve taken in preparation for, and in response to COVID-19.

We are working closely with airports and airlines to respond to changes in air traffic demand to ensure that air traffic continues to operate safely and efficiently across the country.

NAV CANADA has been proactive in its response to COVID-19, first introducing preventative measures in early February. As the situation continued to evolve globally and across Canada, we have continued to adjust and escalate measures appropriately. This includes enhancing cleaning and hygiene measures, eliminating non-essential travel, teleworking for employees where possible, and limiting access to facilities to the business-critical employees who can’t perform their duties from home.

NAV CANADA is at a high degree of readiness, with contingency plans in place to ensure the continued safety of Canadian skies.
