PUBLICATIONS - Aeronautical Information Products

Aeronautical Information Products

Effective 1 January 2007, NAV CANADA assumed responsibility for the production and printing of Aeronautical Information Publications. To support this responsibility, NAV CANADA has made a major investment in an aeronautical database system that increases our focus on managing aeronautical data, while providing a digital production platform for documents and charts, and enabling flexible product delivery. This shift to managing the data behind the publications and products will support the publication of higher quality products. Over the next few publication cycles, changes will be introduced to improve our products.

NAV CANADA's Aeronautical Information Products include a national inventory of more than 20 publications and chart titles, including over 1,700 instrument procedures and data for 1,800 airports across Canada. Please click on the following links for details on each type of product, the publication schedule, as well as purchase and contact information.

The 15 March 2007 issue of the Canada Flight Supplement (CFS), the Canada Air Pilot (CAP), and other NAV CANADA aviation products introduced a new cover that reflects the sole responsibility of NAV CANADA for the publications. New data elements and formats will be introduced over time and customers can expect to see changes as early as the 10 May 2007 issue.
