NAV CANADA wins intranet design award

(Ottawa, January 12, 2016) – NAV CANADA is pleased to announce that the Company’s employee intranet, Central, has been recognized as a winner in the 2016 Intranet Design Annual Competition by the Nielsen Norman Group (NNg), a leading consulting firm specializing in user experience design.

Every year, NNg hosts an intranet design competition inviting firms from all over the world to submit their internal employee-facing intranet to compete for this prestigious award. It is a significant accomplishment for NAV CANADA, our implementation partners StoneShare and Atomic Motion, and the employees who participated in the intranet redesign project (Constellation Phase 2).

It is independent validation that the design principles used in building Central are aligned with modern best practices.

“We could not have won this award without the significant contributions of the hundreds of people who participated in and supported the Constellation Phase 2 project”, said Claudio Silvestri, Vice President and Chief Information Officer. “We were most fortunate to have such dedicated and hardworking people across all departments as team members working together to deliver the new intranet.”
