Our four month work-term period runs from May to August and gives
you the chance to gain valuable experience working side by side with our team
of professionals, meeting other students and developing your network.
Depending on the location, positions may be open in Human
Resources, Finance, Technical Operations, Operations Support, Engineering,
Information Management, Safety and Quality and Legal and Corporate Services.
To be eligible, students must:
· be over the age of 16 returning to their studies in the fall
· legally able to work in Canada and
· have proof of your school enrollment
If you are over 18 years of age, you must also complete a
police or criminal record check.
The application period is open from January to mid-February
each year. Late applications are not accepted.

Did you receive my application?
When you apply for a position online you automatically
receive an acknowledgement indicating your application was successfully
received. Please make sure your e-mail address is entered correctly to ensure
proper delivery of your confirmation e-mail.
NOTE: Hardcopy applications will not be acknowledged.
What is the status of my application?
We receive a high volume of applications and cannot provide
status updates on individual applications. Generally, we will commence the applicant review process
after the official closing date of the competition.
When are the interviews? When will I be contacted?
We will commence the applicant review process after the

Hiring managers will be initially selecting and contacting
successful candidates between February and March. The majority of, but not all,
summer students start employment with NAV CANADA the first week of May.
However, summer hiring continues on into the summer months and candidates may
still be contacted throughout the months of May, June, July and August.
