Vendor Maintenance Clerk

The Vendor Maintenance Clerk’s primary focus is the integrity of the vendor master records and ensuring accurate and timely processing of vendor maintenance requests. This position is also responsible in assisting with cheque runs, mail distribution, scanning of invoices, ensuring accuracy of the Records Management system, leading the yearly archiving process and other related accounts payable duties when required.
Successful completion of secondary school education or equivalency.
Experience working in Finance & Administration environment.
Experience in customer service where applied to internal department and external vendor queries.
Experience working in a highly detailed, focused environment
Experience scrutinizing financial data and documents, obtaining missing or correcting erroneous information. (ie: assessing accuracy of documents/signatures/authorizations)
Experience in searching for precedents relevant to unusual transactions & determining if that transaction or process is still relevant.
